We became father’s rights attorneys the way you would expect. When our firm was first established in 1986, Mr. Aleck was a young father himself and could not accept it when a good father was limited in his contact with his children. As a result, he fought for his clients that were fathers. After a while, clients would seek him out because as they would invariably tell him, “I hear you fight for fathers.”

     So many fathers sought our firm that after 10 years, one day in an inter-office meeting someone said, “We have developed quite a bit of expertise fighting for fathers,” and that gave rise to the next idea that we should advertise that expertise. It was in this manner that our father’s rights advertising campaign was launched.

     Thus, fighting for fathers is what we have done for nearly twenty years. It is not just a slogan. It is not just an advertising campaign. It is what we do.

     In the early days, this firm was a general practice firm and we can still do a lot of things even though our firm now primarily deals with Father’s Rights and Criminal Defense.

     Our practice boiled down to Father’s Rights and Criminal Defense because that is what we naturally were good at doing. Both Ghazey Aleck and Anthony Jenkins grew up in law enforcement families. Both have law enforcement experience. Ghazey Aleck has served as a police officer and as an elected prosecuting attorney. Anthony Jenkins graduated with a degree in criminal justice, was certifiable as a police officer and externed in a prosecutor’s office.
